A summary of road tests published by the French motorcycle press — Le Repaire des Motards, Moto-Net, Motomag. Our own impressions will be added to this page.

The 660 cc triple is what the press notices first: 64 Nm spread across the whole range, a flexibility that saves you working the gearbox, and a character that wakes up beyond 6,500 rpm all the way to 10,000. Le Repaire des Motards ranks "engine flexibility and character" at the top of its strengths, along with fuel economy.
Agile and precise through medium-speed bends. French road tests do note a mismatch between front and rear: a fairly soft fork and a stiffer rear, both noticeable on broken surfaces or at a brisk pace. For touring and day rides, which is what those same tests recommend, it is a non-issue.
The front is judged powerful and fade-free. The rear lacks finesse, with a pedal that is hard to modulate and can trigger the ABS a little early if you lean on it.
Natural riding position, a wide and supportive seat, suspension that soaks up speed bumps. The screen adjusts by hand, and the press finds it a little short for long motorway stretches.

This is the motorcycle we rode on our road trip Alps–Piedmont loop — Izoard, Col Agnel and Mont-Cenis.
Yes. The Tiger Sport 660s in our fleet are restricted to A2 and can be hired on an A2 licence at no extra charge.
835 mm. It is a mid-size tourer, 206 kg fully fuelled.
That is exactly what it is built for: a flexible triple, half-fairing, adjustable screen and top case. The French press describes it as an excellent touring and day-ride machine, less so as a sporty adventure bike.
